This year, VSTE will be once again providing events of interest to Educational Technology Leaders, including a Leadership Luncheon, special Leadership Conversations and an IT Solutions Strand, designed for division level technology directors as they face the challenge of visioning, planning and implementing educational technology.
The Leadership Luncheon will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2013. The keynote speaker for the luncheon will be Steven Anderson, Director of Instructional Technology for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County in North Carolina. In this position, Anderson supports a technology program for over 53,000 students.
Leadership event participants are encouraged to attend the full three-day VSTE conference. A special leadership strand including sessions by the Virginia Department of Education, will be held throughout the conference. This year, we are also hosting Leadership Conversations designed to give time and space for ed tech leaders to share with others. Finally, an IT Solutions Strand will address technical issues of interest to division level leaders.
The Ed Tech Leaders event at the Annual Technology in Education Conference is not affiliated with the Educational Technology Leadership Conference sponsored by Virginia Tech.
